decent place
- Although this is currently listed as a 4 Star Afternoon Tea it presently does not measure up to that rating.Having advised the Restaurant that there were dietary limitations with three of the four party attending (vegetarian/vegan) & there was to be no meat or tuna sandwiches the staff bringing the sandwiches/cake trays presented them & when asked if theymet the brief were not aware of the request. When asked if we would like tea there was no List to read from & the waiter had to have the information prised from him as he could not recall the few tea options available. i.e English Breakfast/Darjeehling/Peppermint etc.The time we attended was late afternoon & there werevery few in the restaurant & still they were inattentive. The overall result was an afternoon that would not have resulted in a 4 star rating.

- HELL AVOID AVOID AVOID. Rudest hotel manager in London. No Lifts except for service elevator that had someone stuck in it daily. No power no hot water no airco. This hotel is lacking in maintenance and any sort of management. Trained in how to sell no star rating under a 4-star flag and fob you off. Disgusting

Really poor gym which is dirty and…
- We arrived at the hotel on the 13th of August ahead of my 30th birthday celebrations later on that evening. When we tried to check in we were first told there was no booking. After the rather rude receptionist searched again she found the booking only to find that it was on their system as the 13th of July. I disputed this with the email confirmation from lastminute.com which clearly showed a one night stay on the 13th of August. They told me to call lastminute and simply ushered me away with no further help. We had a lot to do that afternoon so we visited several nearby hotels to try and find an alternative which eventually we did. I called up lastminute the next day and the investigation is STILL ongoing. I understand that the problem was miscommunication between the hotel and lastminute. However having heard from the investigations team at lastminute today Croydon Park Hotel are now denying all fact that we turned up on the day to book in and are asking for evidence proving that I booked into an alternative hotel instead. My birthday was almost ruined and I am still majorly out of pocket. They are meant to be one of the most prestigious hotels in croydon but all they have left me feeling is disappointed and disgusted that they are essentially stealing my money
