They close account when you try and withdraw money
- This is the formal complaint I sent. There is no verification to deposit then when you try and withdraw the reject withdrawal and close your account until further unreasonable verification. They want my bank statement and a photo of my front door along with a huge list of additional nonsense.I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding the handling of my account and withdrawal request.I deposited Ā£10 into my Bally account.I later requested to withdraw the funds without gambling.My withdrawal request was rejected and my account was subsequently closed.I was informed that āfurther verificationā would be required before my account could be reopened and the withdrawal honoured.I believe this treatment is unfair and may be in breach of the UK Gambling Commissionās Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice (LCCP) which require operators to:Carry out verification checks before allowing customers to deposit or gamble.Not place unnecessary obstacles in the way of withdrawals.Treat customers fairly and transparently.I am requesting that Bally immediately:Reopen my account for the purpose of completing any necessary verification checks.Process my Ā£10 withdrawal without further delay.Confirm in writing the reason why these checks were not conducted before accepting my deposit.If this matter is not resolved within 8 weeks or if I do not receive a satisfactory final response I will escalate my complaint to your designated Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider and will also report the matter to the UK Gambling Commission.I expect your response within the required timeframes under your complaints policy.
